We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Executive Assistant to support our Principal and Board of Governors. In this pivotal role, you’ll create a seamless, efficient, and professional environment that allows school leadership to operate at their very best. About the Role
This full-time, permanent role requires a skilled administrator who thrives in a fast-paced setting, can manage competing priorities with calm confidence, and brings a high level of professionalism, discretion, and warmth to all interactions.
You’ll be responsible for:
• Providing high-level confidential and administrative support to the Principal and Board of Governors
• Leading the school’s policy administration processes aligned with the Self Review Plan
• Managing all travel and accommodation arrangements for the Principal, Board, and staff attending offsite PD
• Coordinating meetings, agendas, and documentation, and ensuring all logistics are in place (venues, catering, scheduling)
• Attending and minuting key meetings
• Managing three direct reports
• Maintaining positive, professional relationships with stakeholders across the school
• Supporting governance processes and documentation using platforms like BoardPro
• Upholding confidentiality and discretion at all times
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who’s not just highly capable, but also collaborative and values-aligned. You will be:
• A confident Executive Assistant with significant experience supporting at executive and Board level
• Skilled in governance procedures, with familiarity working with Boards and Committees
• A natural relationship-builder who can connect across a diverse school community
• Detail-oriented, with exceptional time management and prioritisation skills
• An outstanding communicator, both written and verbal
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital communication platforms
• Experienced with BoardPro or similar governance tools
• Calm under pressure and committed to producing high-quality work every time
