Mathematics Teacher
Tara Anglican School for Girls is seeking an energetic, passionate, and innovative Mathematics Teacher to join our Senior School. The successful applicant will have the ability and experience to teach Stages 4, 5, and 6 Mathematics, with experience in International Baccalaureate (IB) Programs highly regarded but not essential. New Graduates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics across Stages 4, 5, and 6 in line with NESA requirements.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Integrate ICT and modern teaching strategies, including 1:1 laptop programs.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and achievement.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and collaborative teaching programs.
- Support the School’s co-curricular program, including camps, events, and student activities.
- Act as a mentor to students, supporting their wellbeing and academic goals.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a dynamic and supportive team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Secondary education.
- NESA accreditation to teach in NSW.
- Experience teaching Stages 4, 5, and 6 Mathematics.
- Experience with the IB is advantageous but not essential.
