Assistant Year Coordinator and Teacher

Ravenswood School for Girls is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney’s North Shore. We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Year Coordinator (year group to be determined) to support the Year Coordinator in the relevant Year Group on overseeing the wellbeing of students including the academic, co-curricular, social and wellbeing matters.  The Assistant Year Coordinator assists in the implementation of Positive Education and supports the Mentors on a day-to-day basis.

This is a permanent, full-time position and will commence at the beginning of Term 1, 2026.

There is a teaching load associated with this position. You will need to be able to demonstrate your teaching ability in your KLA.

• Commitment to positive education and wellbeing and a genuine interest in developing skills with expertise in this area
• Be an effective classroom teacher with an excellent understanding of the curriculum
• Be confident in differentiating curriculum in the classroom
• Have a passion for your KLA, and a creative and enthusiastic teaching style; and
• Enjoy working in a committed and professional team within the Christian ethos of the school

Essential criteria:

• Qualification in Education and registration with NESA;
• Being proactive and innovative; and
• Ability to work in a collaborative team.
