We are seeking an experienced and strategic Digital Experience Manager – Systems and Projects to join our Marketing and Community Relations team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a pivotal role responsible for shaping and continuously improving the School’s digital ecosystems, systems and user journeys across multiple platforms.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Community Relations, the Digital Experience Manager plays a key role in optimising how our community experiences MLC School through digital channels. You will take a holistic, customer-centred approach to systems, data and digital touchpoints—ensuring they are accurate, integrated, intuitive and aligned to the School’s strategic objectives.

This role leads major digital and systems projects, advocates for the user experience, and works collaboratively across the School to deliver effective, future-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and improve the School’s digital systems and platforms, including the website, portals, apps, databases, microsites and related tools
  • Champion the end-user experience, ensuring seamless digital journeys for internal and external audiences
  • Drive data accuracy, system integration and effective information flow across platforms
  • Lead major digital and systems projects, delivering outcomes on time and within budget
  • Analyse data and prepare insights and reports to support decision-making
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to implement continuous improvement
  • Support broader Marketing and Community Relations initiatives as required

About You

You are a solutions-focused digital professional with strong technical capability and a passion for improving user experiences. You enjoy leading change, working across complex systems and partnering with stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes.

You will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (or equivalent industry experience)
  • Demonstrated experience managing digital platforms, databases and online communications
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading system or digital change initiatives
  • Excellent attention to detail, data accuracy and problem-solving capability
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships
  • A collaborative, proactive approach and a commitment to continuous improvement

Experience with platforms such as Compass, WordPress, Umbraco, Campaign Monitor, Clipboard, WooCommerce, Qualtrics CX, Enquiry Tracker or ToucanTech will be highly regarded.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable role (education sector experience highly regarded)
  • A valid Working with Children Check
