The successful candidate will have:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the IB curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments.
• Use data and observations to tailor instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement.
• Support the social, emotional, and spiritual growth of students in alignment with school values.
• Implement classroom management strategies that promote respectful and responsible behaviour.
• Identify and support students with learning challenges or additional needs, working closely with Learning Support teams.
• Encourage collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking in students.
• Foster positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and community members, promoting a collaborative and inclusive school culture
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan lessons, share best practices, and contribute to curriculum development.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives, extracurricular activities, and pastoral care programs.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice to improve teaching effectiveness.
• A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering both academic and personal growth in students.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex design concepts and engage effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Dedicated to ongoing professional development maintaining a proactive approach to teaching.
