Executive Principal to commence 2025

Kristin is an independent, co-educational school of more than 1,800 students from Early Learning through to Year 13, located on a park-like 50-acre campus with state of the art facilities in Albany on Auckland’s North Shore. Kristin is non-denominational and welcomes students from all cultures and backgrounds. With over 50 years of operation, Kristin has an enviable international reputation based on its outstanding academic results, extensive co-curricular programmes and focus on student and staff wellbeing. The first school in New Zealand to introduce the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB), Kristin offers the IB Primary Years (PYP), Middle Years (MYP) and Diploma (DP) programmes alongside the National Curriculum to Junior, Middle and Senior school students. As an IB World School, Kristin is committed to enhancing its international perspective and a sense of global awareness across all three schools. Students at all year levels regularly partake in service initiatives to support others within the school, and the local community. The Opportunity: With the relocation of its current Executive Principal, the Kristin Board wishes to appoint a new Executive Principal responsible for overall leadership and management of the school, including the development of strategy and educational innovation to ensure that Kristin continues to be a progressive and innovative leader in the New Zealand independent schools’ sector.
