Programme Schedule
The structure of each subject workshop features 12 sessions delivered over the course of 3 days. Refer to the cover page for the subjects offered at the venue.

Prerequisites
Refer to the workshop descriptions at www.ibo.org/ibap/workshops to ascertain the level of IB teaching experience(s) in that specific subject needed to attend a workshop.
Representatives from schools that have registered interest to implement IB programmes and independent teachers who are not currently teaching in IB schools may register for introductory and/or Category 1 workshop only.
Agenda
A copy of the subject agenda will be forwarded to participants before the date of workshop.
Certificate of Attendance
An official “IB Certificate of Attendance” is only awarded to registered participants who have attended ALL sessions of a subject workshop. Please ensure that your travel arrangements do not preclude your candidacy for a certificate.
Workshop Fee includes:-
Refreshment breaks and lunches for 3 days
· Catering would be no pork no lard only, Vegetarian food will be available
· Workshop materials
** Fee excludes cost of travel and hotel accommodation. Participants should not book travel and accommodation until the workshop is confirmed. Travel insurance should be purchased at the time of booking.
Standard Registration Fees: $A 661 plus GST. Early Bird Registration which concludes up to and including Thursday 26 April: $A 614 plus GST. AAIBS members will NOT receive a rebate for participation in the workshop which is being offered as a service to members.

Located in the charming foothills of Adelaide, Blackwood High School offers the world class IB curriculum IB Middle Years Program
Opened in 1961, the school has served the local community for over 50 years, gaining a reputation for high academic standards, high participation rates for sports, and an active arts program. Girls can apply to join the Special Interest Netball program which, in collaboration with Netball SA, focuses on skill development and offers students a high level of competition. Our theme, The Culture of Achievement and Respect, helps to guide our students to achieve their personal best and learn how to live their life with respect and dignity. Our curriculum is supported by a wireless network enabling students to connect and learn with the world.

Air Transportation
Adelaide has an airport with international connections to Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. Otherwise, you may consider a transit from Melbourne which is less than 1 hour. For more information, check out http://www.aal.com.au

There are 3 options for airport transfer:-
1) Taxi to City Centre – Approx A$20 - A$25

Ground Transportation
The City Centre is compact and can be easily covered on foot, but for the leg weary there are two free buses and free tram travel between South Terrace and the Entertainment Centre.
