IB Diploma Programme Arts Teachers’ Network Day
Date and Time: Tuesday 4th April 2017 8:30am – 4:00pm
Venue: St Paul’s Grammar School Arts Quarter, St Paul’s Grammar School, Penrith NSW
Cost: $35.00 payable by cheque to St Paul’s Grammar School, Penrith Ltd. The cost is based on recovery of morning tea and lunch.
Purpose:
The Arts network day is an opportunity for teachers to discuss teaching, learning and assessment in the DP Arts subjects of Dance, Theatre and Visual Arts which will be facilitated through three concurrent workshops.
Updates on the curriculum review process will be discussed as well as recent changes to the current Theatre and Visual Arts guides for first examinations in 2017.
It should be stressed that as with all teacher Network Days this day is an opportunity for teachers to share expertise, experiences and resources to assist in teaching IB Programmes.
This day should be seen as a supplement to workshops. It does not replace the need for teachers to attend full three-day Diploma workshops.
Please register by returning the registration form by Tuesday 28th March, but earlier if possible – particularly if you have specific dietary needs.
Location: Please enter the school via the South Gates on Taylor Road. There is plenty of parking within the school grounds. Proceed to the Arts Quarter Foyer Gallery for registration and tea or coffee.
