The Australian International Academy of Education is a co-educational Prep – 12 School of 1200 students situated on three campuses about 10 kilometres to the north and west of the city centre of Melbourne, Victoria – Australia’s most liveable city. The Academy is dedicated to the provision of academic excellence within a caring Islamic environment. A large variety of ethnic and cultural origins are represented within the student and staff populations. The IB Programme and International Students Program form the focus for the development of an Internationalist outlook which seeks to send forth the leaders of succeeding generations who will work towards the building of a world of peace, harmony, cooperation and creative potential.
At the King Khalid Primary Campus we are a co-educational school from Prep to Year 5. Being an authorised PYP school, we focus on ensuring we foster well prepared and self motivated worldly citizens with muslim values.
The Academy follows the IB Primary Years Programme combined with the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) mandated for Victoria. Quality instruction and explicit programs lay the foundation for these students across a range of learning areas. Student agency and individualised learning are fundamental to our teaching programs.
Specialist teachers collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate their specialist area to deliver a range of learning experiences within PE, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Arabic, Religion and Turkish. STEM based activities and IT are interwoven throughout learning to develop these essential life skills.
We have risen to become a leading Muslim School that promotes excellence across all of our diverse programmes. The primary school participates in many programs including interschool sports, football diversity programs, fundraising and a host of special events including an Eid festival for the students.
