St Peter's College
St Peter’s College is an independent School for boys from the Early Learning Centre through to Year 12. With a rich tapestry of history and tradition and founded in 1847, St Peter’s College is honoured to have been educating the minds, hearts and spirits of students for more than 170 years.
Since its foundation, Saints has emphasised a sense of service honoured through selflessness and this value remains strong and constant in the fabric of School life. Our motto Pro Deo et Patria (For God and Country) serves to inspire and motivate our students.
As an Anglican school, Christianity is at the heart of everything we do. We encourage students to explore their spirituality and think about their own faith, enriched and strengthened by the diversity in our community.
The School community is inspired by the ongoing impact of our old scholars and is proud of our academic success. Our alumni include three Nobel Laureates, ten Australian premiers and 41 Rhodes Scholars.
Today our most important work is shaping the character of the boys and young men at Saints – developing a sense of service and respect, along with a robust commitment to the pursuit of truth. Every student is encouraged and guided by talented, caring and committed staff. Our teachers are leaders in their field, and each is dedicated to ensuring the best possible learning outcomes for our students.
