The second event takes the form of an IB Art Exhibition, actively organised by the Visual Arts teacher network. The exhibition is held at the Glen Eira City Council Gallery for three weeks each year to showcases an exciting range of student artwork from the IB Diploma Visual Arts subject.
The IB Coordinator’s network also supports the establishment and regularly meeting of subject specific networks for IB teachers. Currently there are subject networks in existence for English A: Literature, Spanish ab initio, Economics, Geography, History, Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Visual Arts and Theory of Knowledge (TOK). Special events have also been held by particular IB Schools within the network, such as IB Language B workshops and IB Music workshops
