AIA adopted the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) in 1997.  The mission of both AIA and the IB align in the areas of educational excellence and global citizenship.

The program is offered as a co-ed programme covering five years of studies from grade 6 to 10. Our AIA Middle year School is committed to professional and dedicated staff and programmes, encouraging excellence in academics, co-curricular activities and personal development, and well-resourced classrooms, where we continue to ensure students are well-prepared to take on their role as active and informed global citizens. Through a holistic education, AIA students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and to look beyond their own walls to determine how they may be able to help others, both within their own local and wider community.
