IBSA 2024 Leadership Symposium

IB Schools Australasia is excited to again offer our popular Leadership Symposium in 2024.

Our theme for this year is  " Leading to Learn and Learning to Lead".

Designed for School Leaders (Principals, Heads of School, IB Coordinators and others) the aim of this event is to bring together the expertise
of current thought leaders in education to assist IB schools inform and better their practice in the Australasian context. Our 2024 event includes notable experts in the education field presenting on the following:

Dr Adam Fraser: Strive: Embracing the gift of struggle

Amy Green: Wellbeing for You and Those You Lead

Neil McDonald: Leading Learning and Learninng to Lead

 Professor Matt Bower: Leading Learning in an AI World + Immersive workshop

IB leaders are responsible for designing and sustaining learning organisations where students and staff continually expand their skills, attitudes and dispositions. All symposium sessions have been designed to be interactive and provide leadership teams with valuable insights to take back to their schools.

Networking and forming connections between IB schools is a key part of
the day. The final session includes an opportunity for attendees to break into IB programme specific groups to discuss key themes from the day and share takeaways to strengthen practices in their own school context.
