Scotch College is looking for an outstanding educational leader to bring contemporary educational practices to our IB Middle Years Programme.

Our dynamic learning community is looking for an outstanding educational leader who is excited by the opportunity to bring contemporary educational inquiry-based practices to our International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) learning community. 

Applications are sought from innovative practitioners who possess a genuine love of learning, a passion for the developmental needs of boys between the age of 11 and 14 years of age and exceptional classroom practices that motivate and inspire all students within our diverse learning community. Our ideal candidate will have a ‘can do’ attitude, a desire to assist staff to develop highly effective teaching and learning practices and an ability to communicate the unique learning opportunities our Middle School offers across Years 6 to 8, with both internal and external members of our College community.

The successful candidate will be highly energetic, motivated and possess the qualities needed to draw people together, identify opportunities and establish new initiatives. You will demonstrate effective communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop and maintain positive partnerships and to collaborate effectively with others; being prepared to work side-by-side with school leaders and teachers, to develop a culture of professional discourse and sharing about effective teaching and learning practices.
