Queen Margaret College is a leading high performing independent Presbyterian school for girls, Pre-School to Year 13. We are an International Baccalaureate World School offering the PYP, MYP and Diploma Programme as well as the NCEA.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective careers advice and guidance to all students, supporting their decision making regarding future learning and employability options. You will be overseeing the delivery and development as part of a whole school approach that raises aspirations and outcomes for students by playing a major role in preparing them for the opportunities, responsibilities, and experiences of life after school. Pastoral care of students is also a key aspect of this role, administration including organising careers events and short courses. All programmes should reflect best practice and be tied to such indicators as the Career Management Competencies and the Career Education Benchmarks

This permanent full-time position will start in Term 1 2022. You will have New Zealand teacher registration or be working towards it, and be available for starting work in January.
