The successful candidate will have significant curriculum expertise in teaching History to Year 13.  Ideally, you will also have some understanding of or interest in working with the International Baccalaureate History curriculum.
  
This role is an excellent career development opportunity where you will:
  

  • Provide professional leadership and management for NCEA and IB History courses offered at the school
  • Design innovative curriculum programmes which will engage learners
  • Collaborate with and lead History department staff regarding allocation of classes and curriculum development
  • Direct and monitor assessment and reporting for NCEA and History courses in line with School policies
  • Supervise, support and appraise teachers of History
