About the Role

This role is a short-term, part-time contract from Term 4 2022 until the end of Term 3 2023. The successful candidate will teach visual art across a variety of levels from Year 1 to Year 5. The Primary School Visual Art Teacher has a responsibility to the Head of Primary to exercise the purpose and values of the School in and out of the classroom.

About You

You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:

  • Proven experience to develop innovative visual art programmes to achieve outstanding academic results for all students.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with other members of staff and lead others.
  • PYP experience or an understanding of Inquiry pedagogy.
  • Administrative and organisational skills.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the full life of an independent school and a willingness to engage in School activities out of regular hours.
