Position Available 

Queenwood requires a Junior School Catalyst Teacher (High Potential & Gifted Education).  This is a part time (0.6FTE) permanent position to commence in Term 1, 2023.

The Junior School Catalyst Teacher is responsible for implementing effective learning and teaching practices to develop the talent of high potential and gifted students with a particular interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM). S/he will be expected to support the daily operations and extra-curricular life of the School.

Qualifications required

The successful candidate will be required to have:

  • Eligibility to teach in NSW schools, and exceptional understanding of Mathematics
  • Experience in STEAM with highly able primary-aged students 
  • A postgraduate qualification in Gifted Education is preferrable
