New Entrants Teacher (Full time, permanent)

QMC is an IB World School offering PYP, MYP and Diploma programmes. We are searching for an inspired, energetic and passionate person to become our new entrant teacher for our Junior School. You will be an innovative teacher who is eager to take risks, have high expectations and ability to enthuse students to become self-directed learners. You will have proven experience in implementing literacy and numeracy programmes based on professional inquiry. You will have: - a strong understanding of curriculum and pedagogical knowledge of mathematics and literacy - fantastic relationships with students to support their wellbeing - the ability to foster resilience, independence and confidence in students - an understanding of the multiple uses of data for assessment for learning and to measure student progress - an understanding of conceptually based inquiry learning - a collaborative working style - willingness to incorporate digital learning into your classroom.
