With the decision of Nelson File to retire as Principal of The Friends’ School at the end of 2023 after 11 years of distinguished leadership and service, the Board of Governors invites applications for the role of Principal from January 2024.

The Rules of the Association which govern the School require the Board of Governors where possible to appoint a Principal who is a member of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers); however, provision is made to appoint a Principal who is not a Quaker but who is in sympathy with Quaker principles and practices, and thus applications from both Quakers and non-Quakers are welcome.

For more information, please visit the Principal Appointment webpage on the School's website.

Those wishing to obtain more information and/or to apply for the position, please contact the consultant assisting the School, Kathy McLean, of Fish & Nankivell, on 0414 376 698.

Applications will close on Monday 9 January 2023. A concurrent search is being conducted.
