Mathematics and Science teacher

This position is for a knowledgeable, dedicated and passionate Mathematics and Science teacher. The position requires the abilty to teach Years 7-10 and familiarity with the IB MYP and SACE will be important in this role.

The teacher’s priority is to ensure that learning and teaching encourages student engagement and is carried out within the context of the Mission, Vision and Values of the College.

Demonstrated ability to design and implement authentic concept-driven units of work which encourage inquiry are essential to this position. Working collaboratively with year level teams will be integral to the role.

From a curriculum perspective the teacher will be part of a large team of Mathematics and Science teachers who develop, teach and review current International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme and SACE units of work.

The successful applicant will have knowledge of Mathematics and general Science. Knowledge and understanding of innovative approaches, including inquiry-based learning, is essential.
