English teacher (with the ability to teach another subject seen as an advantage)
Fixed-term part-time – approximately 0.5FTE to 0.65FTE
Commencing as soon as possible until Friday 30 June 2023, with the possibility of extension
We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher who has a passion for teaching English to students within the MYP curriculum framework and SACE. Qualifications and/or experience in English and another area will be a benefit. The ability to teach in the Middle School as well as Senior School will be considered an advantage.
The teacher’s priority is to ensure that learning and teaching encourages student engagement and is carried out within the context of the Mission, Vision and Values of the College.
The teacher will have the skills and capacity to teach English applying teaching and learning approaches which engage students and encourage them to achieve their best. Creativity and an understanding of an inquiry approach to teaching and learning will be important.
