Digital Technologies teacher

This position is for a knowledgeable, dedicated and highly skilled Digital Technologies teacher. The position requires the capacity to teach Years 7-12 and familiarity with the SACE and IB MYP will be important in this role.

The Digital Technologies teacher will be responsible for delivering the Digital Technologies Australian Curriculum content within an IB MYP Design framework from Years 7-10. The teacher will have a range of computational thinking skills and be able lead students through a design cycle to abstract, define, design, produce and evaluate a range of digital solutions. Experience teaching and producing digital solutions with a variety of programming languages is highly sought after.

The applicant will be part of a dynamic teaching team seeking to engage students through a variety of innovative, integrated and authentic learning experiences while also being motivated to learn new programming languages and technologies with support. They will work within the team to develop lessons that develop persistence, innovation, creativity and student interest in the Digital Technologies learning area.

Opportunities for the successful applicant to teach SACE Digital Technologies in the future would be considered based on their skills and previous experiences.
