Sophia Mundi Steiner School is seeking to appoint a professional, motivated and engaging person as a key member of our senior school faculty.  This position is to teach the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme History Course to Years 11 and 12.  This position carries an allocation of between 0.60 – 0.80 FTE; with potential to increase to full-time depending on other teaching methods and experience. 

The school is looking for a teacher, passionate about History with knowledge of the IB Diploma Programme.  Appropriate academic qualifications and teacher training, as well as a sound understanding of current educational trends and learning styles are required.

This position offers a unique opportunity for someone who may also have an interest in Steiner education, although this is not a requirement for the position.

To be successful in securing this position you will have demonstrated ability and passion for teaching History, strong ICT skills and an ability to differentiate in the delivery of curriculum, as well as a flexible, collegial approach.

Sophia Mundi is a progressive, co-educational inner-city, Steiner school located in the Abbotsford Convent, Melbourne.
