Santa Sabina is seeking a passionate professional to join the College as an English and Religious Education teacher Years 7 - 12. Fourth Year University students will be considered and we are willing to oversee final year internships and practicums as part of employment for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will:
- support the Catholic Dominican Mission of the College and promote the prayer life of the College
- demonstrate an understanding of curriculum requirements for NESA English (Stage 4 - 6) and Studies of Religion courses (Stage 6) and NESA approved Stage 4 and 5 Religious Education
- be an exemplary teacher with demonstrated understanding of contemporary pedagogy
- be a collaborative practitioner who can work with a range of teams
- contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of English and Religious Education programs for curriculum, assessment and reporting across Years 7-12
Experience and/or understanding of the IB Diploma is advantageous.
