Ravenswood are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant/ Administrative Assistant to provide a high level of confidential administrative support for the work of the Deputy Principal: Boarding, Wellbeing and Development.

We are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to the Deputy Principal: Boarding, Wellbeing and Development / Administrative Assistant to provide a high level of confidential administrative support for the work of the Deputy Principal: Boarding, Wellbeing and Development.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks, work independently, maintain discretion, and ensure the accuracy of communication. On a day-to-day basis, they will manage the Deputy Principal’s daily schedule, appointments and meetings and use initiative to efficiently manage, prioritise and act on urgent issues, monitor deadlines, communicate and correspond with various staff members and students.

To secure this role, the successful applicant will have:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
  • Advanced skills in a variety of software including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, databases, Outlook and Access;
  • The ability to build and maintain a sound knowledge of the school’s structure, functions, policies and processes, in order to be able to offer high level administrative support as needed across the School from time to time;
  • A proactive, organised and meticulous approach and the ability to implement process improvements;
  • A calm and mature demeanour and the ability to act with diplomacy and empathy; and
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills working at speed and with high accuracy.
