Monte Sant' Angelo Mercy College is an independent school for girls in years 7 - 12. An opportunity has become available for an experienced Administrative Assistant - Academic to join the College on a maximum term, 12 month contract. This is a diverse role working closely with the Deputy Principal - Curriculum, Director - Senior School/IB Coordinator and Director - Middle School/MYP Coordinator and providing support in the academic administration of the College.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support and coordination of academic services to the Deputy Principal, Curriculum and to the Director Senior School/IB Coordinator and Director Middle School/MYP Coordinator
  • Maintaining the integrity of data for the College's academic processes including NESA/MYP/DP and National Curriculum
  • Supporting the work of Heads of Department (HODs) and teachers within the College database, Edumate
  • Providing administrative support relating to curriculum areas of the College
  • Supporting student illness and misadventure processes as required
  • Managing administrative process related to Academic Reporting including Academic Tracking
  • Other duties as required

Must have:

  • Effective computing skills including use of Microsoft Office and using Apple Mac
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced general administrative/secretarial skills
  • High level of organisation and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop relationships across the College

Experience with Edumate or other equivalent administrative systems, processes and databases is desirable.

This is a full-time, temporary position working Monday to Friday during term time only from January 2024 - December 2024. Hours for this position are 8.00am – 4.00pm.
