COLLEGE COUNSELLOR (Full time, permanent)

The College is seeking the services of a motivated and experienced Psychologist/College Counsellor to join the College's Pastoral Care team. The position is full time during term time (38 weeks) plus 6 weeks (44 weeks in total).

Responsibilities include individual and group counselling and working with teachers and parents to advise on the emotional, behavioural and social needs of students. This position also has responsibility for guiding families to external services when required and close collaboration with key members of staff at the school.

The successful applicant will be a qualified psychologist experienced in working with young people and who understands the complexities of adolescent development and difficulties that may be experienced by students at various stages.

Appropriate tertiary qualifications are required. Applicants must be registered with AHPRA and be eligible for membership of the APS.
