ABOUT THE ROLE

The King’s School Preparatory School is seeking a talented, dynamic STEM Teacher to inspire students as inquirers, thinkers and global citizens. The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative team of educators, utilising innovative pedagogy and personalised pastoral care. Our 320 acre campus provides a unique opportunity for experiential teaching, holistic adventure and professional creativity. There are extensive opportunities for professional learning, mentorship and development.

Please note, this opportunity is a permanent full-time role at The King's Preparatory School in North Parramatta commencing Term 1, 2024.

  • The ability to develop strong relationships with students and a passion for boys’ education
  • A high level of pedagogical understanding in both inquiry and explicit teaching
  • An excellent understanding of assessment informed practice
  • Teaching competence as a STEM Teacher with ability to communicate with younger students
  • Strong communication skills
  • A high level of collaborative practice
  • A commitment to professional learning and continuous improvement
  • Ability to contribute to the School community through involvement in Co-curricular activities, including Saturday sport
