Queensland Academy for Health Sciences (QAHS) offers highly capable students in Years 10 to 12 the opportunity to study the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program in state-of-the-art facilities located at Southport in the prestigious Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct.

You will be highly skilled in evidencing your sound knowledge of Senior Biology, and will also possess advanced capabilities in relation to biological processes on a molecular level. You will be fully supported in training if required, to assimilate your knowledge in the curriculum specialities of the International Baccalaureate Diploma. You will be able to articulate and purposefully link scientific outcomes to practical and global contexts, and have a passion and enthusiasm for scientific research and enabling real world science-based experiences with academic and industry innovators. Ideally you will be energized by engaging with all students of the Academy in a wide range of extra-curricular activities to promote wellbeing, connection and global perspective.
