Santa Sabina is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic professionals to join the College as HSIE Teachers (Years 7 - 12). Fourth Year University students will be considered and we are willing to oversee final year internships and practicums as part of employment for the right candidate.
HSIE Teachers
- Temporary full time (LSL) Term 2 (29 April 2024 - 28 June 2024) Mandatory (Junior) Geography, Year 11 Legal Studies
- Temporary full time (parental leave) from Term 2, Week 7 onwards (12 month appointment) - Senior Legal Studies, Mandatory (Junior) History
The successful candidate will:
- support the Catholic Dominican Mission of the College and promote the prayer life of the College
- demonstrate an understanding of curriculum requirements for NESA HSIE Geography, Legal Studies and History (Stage 4 - 6)
- be an exemplary teacher with demonstrated understanding of contemporary pedagogy
- be a collaborative practitioner who can work with a range of teams
- contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of HSIE programs for curriculum, assessment and reporting across Years 7-12
Experience and/or understanding of the IB Diploma and NESA Modern History is advantageous.
