Position Summary:

The role of the Leaning Enrichment Teacher (P-6) is primarily responsible for the overall development, implementation and evaluation of the services provided by the Junior School Learning Enrichment Team. The focus of the role is to coordinate the learning needs for identified students through the curriculum and pastoral structures of the Junior School. 

The successful applicant will have: 

  • Appropriate qualifications and Experience, at the minimum degree level.
  • Specialisation in Inclusive or Special Education or Equivalent is desirable.
  • Accreditation to teach with NESA.
  • Experience working with Children with additional learning needs or disabilities in a school setting
  • Knowledge and practice of research based social, academic and behavioral interventions
  • An understanding of the NESA & IB PYP syllabus 
  • Display a strong ability to integrate ICT into the teaching and learning of subjects.
  • Intermediate level IT skills and competence; specifically, in Microsoft Office, and a workplace database system
  • Demonstrated organisational skills including the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work as a constructive and creative member of a team with a professional, courteous manner.
