MLC School are looking for an IT Service Engineer to join the IT team on a permanent contract.

About the position
As an IT Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical advice and support to staff and students seeking support with technology issues via the Service Desk. This encompasses, but is not limited to, phone support, in person, communication, documentation, audio/visual support, with a continued focus on operational excellence.  In this position you will undertake root-cause analysis as appropriate; ensure availability and accessibility of AV systems across the school; proactively manage equipment to minimise potential issues and outages; manage configuration and deployment of laptop/desktops and engage in the testing of IT governance controls.
Selection Criteria:
  • Proven experience providing technical desktop support.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
  • Working knowledge of Apple devices and Operating Systems (macOS, iPadOS, iOS).
  • Good understanding of AV systems and associated troubleshooting techniques.
  • Systems administration of MS Server 2012-2022, MS Windows 10-11, Ubuntu Linux, macOS. 
  • Experience using an ITIL compliant call logging and ticketing system.
