Geography Teacher

Ravenswood School for Girls is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney’s North Shore. Ravenswood offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the PYP in the Junior School. We are seeking a Geography Teacher to join our dedicated team in a temporary full time capacity, commencing in March 2024 (start date can be negotiable). This role is to cover someone who will be on leave, and is temporary until the end of 2024.

At Ravenswood, we wish to excite students' interest in pursuing their studies both in the classroom and through co-curricular experiences. The successful applicant will be an excellent classroom practitioner, and who demonstrates creativity and rigour in the delivery of curriculum and enjoys working in a committed and professional team.

To secure this role you will;

• Have significant experience teaching Stage 4 and 5 Geography
• Be an effective classroom teacher with an excellent understanding of the curriculum
• Be confident in differentiating curriculum in the classroom
• Have a passion for your KLA, and a creative and enthusiastic teaching style;
• Have strong ICT Skills; and
• Have a commitment to wellbeing within the Christian ethos of the school.
