Deputy Principal Middle School, Operations and Pastoral

Scots College is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced leader to be part of their Middle School leadership team.

Ideally, our successful candidate will have had significant middle or senior management experience with full involvement in all aspects of life in a school.  They will be well used to a dynamic coeducational environment where the wellbeing of the students is paramount and will pursue excellence in all they do.

This role will have a mixture of responsibilities covering key aspects of pastoral care and day to day school operations. It will provide opportunities to lead whole school initiatives as well as playing a vital role in leading a high functioning pastoral team that provides care for all our students. The pastoral care team includes our House Deans and well-being staff, and the successful candidate will work closely with them to ensure we deliver the best pastoral care frameworks and structures possible. They will also have significant responsibilities in student management and operations.

Scots College offers a dual pathway for senior students offering both NCEA and the IB Diploma as well as our own Year 11 programme.  The College is fully authorised for the delivery of the Diploma and Middle Years Programmes.  Teaching opportunities for this role may exist across either or both of these pathways.
