Learning Support Teacher - Permanent Full Time

Santa Sabina College  is seeking an experienced, passionate and empathetic professional to join a highly supportive and collaborative Inclusive Education Department on our Secondary Campus.

The successful candidate will:

  • support the Catholic Dominican Mission of the College and promote the prayer life of the College
  • demonstrates expert understanding of curriculum requirements for all NESA courses, particularly in regards to disabilities provisions. Some knowledge of IBDP course would be advantageous but not essential.
  • be a strategic and collaborative practitioner who can work with a range of teams 
  • be an exemplary teacher with demonstrated understanding of contemporary pedagogy and inclusive education practices
  • contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of Inclusive Education policies and programs for curriculum, assessment and reporting across Years 5-12
  • be able to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • have experience working with processes for the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD)
  • be able to promote differentiation within the classroom setting

Postgraduate qualifications in Inclusive Education/Diverse Learning and/or experience working in the field is essential
