Teacher Aide – Support Teacher

Do you have a passion for inspiring and guiding students to become more than they ever imagined? Behind every great school is a great team of people and we’d love you to join ours.  We are looking for a Teacher Aide/Support Teacher to join us from the start of Term 2, Monday 29th April 2024.

In this role you will be working in the learning support Faculty, Wairoa with a very inclusive and supportive team.  You will inspire and guide neurodiverse students, and those with vision difficulties or mild physical disabilities. You need not be a qualified teacher, but someone who is sympathetic to the needs of our learners with a flexible approach and the ability to build positive relationships.  

The role is on a fixed term basis for the remainder of the 2024 academic year, working 8:30am – 3:30pm daily, Monday to Friday, school term only.  The end date being 4th December 2024.  
There is the possiblity of the role being extended beyond this initial term, subject to student roll numbers.
