Become the Driving Force Behind Our Senior Campus Success

What You'll Do: 

We are on the lookout for a dynamic and proactive Personal Assistant to become an integral part of our team, providing invaluable high-level administrative support to our Head of Senior Campus. As the cornerstone of our operations, you will not only manage schedules and coordinate meetings but will also be entrusted with handling confidential information discretion and professionalism and ensuring the seamless functioning of our Senior Campus office.

This is a fixed term maternity leave cover opportunity, temporary fulltime, term time and some school holidays. You would work Monday to Friday typically 8:30am to 4:30pm with some flexibility and outside work hours to suit the needs of the School such as school functions and/or events etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive high level administrative support, from correspondence to record-keeping.
  • Skilfully manage the Head of Senior Campus’ (HOSC) schedule, ensuring optimal use of time.
  • Act as the primary liaison for staff, students and parent communications.
  • Support the HOSC in planning and executing various initiatives, projects and tasks.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent certificate and/or relevant experience
  • 2 years’ experience in similar PA, EA or similar administration position at an executive level
  • Previous experience working in a school environment (highly desirable)
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience using Edval and/or TASS (desirable)
  • Strong organisational skills that reflect the ability to prioritise multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with all members of staff, students, parents and the wider Grammar community.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving with strong decision-making capability.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Working with Vulnerable People Registration (WWVP)
  • First Aid in Education & Care Setting HLTAID012 and CPR HLTAID009
  • National Police Check or willingness to obtain
