We are currently seeking expressions of interest for a full-time Teacher of Outdoor Education/Outdoor Education Instructor to commence in Term 1, 2025.

Timbertop is Geelong Grammar School’s Year 9 full-boarding campus, situated in Victoria’s high country near Mansfield. It offers a comprehensive academic and outdoor education program, designed to take full advantage of the magnificent natural environment to provide a life-changing experience for students.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for a full-time Teacher of Outdoor Education/Outdoor Education Instructor to commence in Term 1, 2025.

The successful candidate must have:

  • VIT registration and previous teaching experience. Alternatively, consideration may be given to appointing an Outdoor Education Instructor with significant experience in a similar role.   
  • the ability to participate in the Timbertop Outdoor Education, running, wellbeing and pastoral programmes.
  • experience co-ordinating programmes along with leading teenagers in the outdoors.
  • experience in a Boarding School environment.
  • early in career educators are encouraged to apply.
