Key Responsibilities

The duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting weekly rehearsals, guiding and developing student understanding of musical elements
  • Tracking student ability and readiness in regards to progression within the three (3) string groups
  • Selecting appropriate repertoire for performance
  • Coordinate the purchase of appropriate repertoire and / or musical instruments
  • Oversee processes for damaged or broken instruments
  • Advocate for the continued growth of our strings programmes
  • Professionally represent the School in personal presentation, mannerisms and Christ-like service
  • Operating with a high and consistent standard of service
  • Working within the Schools framework at all times
  • Participate in the Christian Life of the School
  • Participate in the wider life of St Peter’s Anglican Primary School
