Radford College is looking for an experienced Communications Assistant & Administrator to join our Communications team to provide a unique link between the College, the Radford Development Foundation and the Radford Collegians' Association.

Term time only, fixed term full-time

The opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Communications team for a fixed term full-time (term-time only) position to cover a period of extended leave.  The Communications Assistant and Administrator provides a unique link between the College, the Radford College Development Foundation and the Radford Collegians’ Association.

 About the role

You will be the point of contact for all administrative matters related to the Radford Foundation, including general day-to-day operational matters.  Undertaking all communications tasks required by the Collegians and all administration tasks required by the Foundation. At busy times, the jobholder will also support the College Nurse in the administering of First Aid.

About you

You will be bringing your expert administrative experience in an office environment, possessing excellent communication skills, and a strong customer service focus to the fore.  You will be a confident self-starter

Qualifications

  • Be technically competent and confident (intermediate to high proficiency) in the MSOffice suite
  • Experience in a communications or marketing role, including content writing and editing using a website Content Management System and use of social media platforms
  • Experience in an administration role, including minute taking and writing
  • Event organisation and management experience
  • Current First Aid Certificate
