Head of Diverse Learning

Tara is seeking a Head of Diverse Learning to lead, develop, and deliver policies, procedures and programs supporting and enriching the teaching and learning of students with diverse needs across the Senior School. 

The Head of Diverse Learning will coordinate and manage specialist staff in the areas of Learning Support, EAL/D Support, and High Potential Learning and collaboratively plan and support the professional development of teachers in delivering a differentiated curriculum. 

The Head of Diverse Learning will identify and monitor the progress of students with diverse learning needs and ensure development of appropriate, clear and well communicated intervention, program design and Individual Learning Plans, and liaise between students, parents, Tara staff and external providers to support the holistic care and development of students with diverse learning needs.

This position is permanent full time and is to commence Term 1, 2022.
