About the Position:

  • The Head of Learning is a challenging and responsible position that ensures teaching and learning of the learning area is consistent across all years within the College. Excellent subject and pedagogical knowledge are essential, as well as strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • The Head of Learning – Drama leads a faculty of highly committed and creative practitioners in engaging students in dramatic expression.  
  • It involves cultivating the craft of performance and encourages students to see a pathway through to the senior years that will see them engage in drama as both part of their curricular and cocurricular program.

About the Organisation:

St Leonard’s College long been at the forefront of educational innovation and curriculum development; in 1972 we became the first single-sex independent school in the Victoria to introduce coeducation, and in 1982 we became the first Victorian school to offer the choice of the VCE or International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme as pathways to tertiary education.
