The Role
This position carries the overall responsibility for the development and promotion of STEM initiatives from K to Year 12 across the School.

It will also include oversight and the teaching of the Digital Technologies/Information Technology curriculum in the School.  The position reports to the Director of Senior School (Innovation and Learning) and as required, to the Director of Junior School (Innovation and Learning).

As the Head of STEM, you will have responsibility for developing dynamic STEM courses, programs and enrichment opportunities and the associated administration. Working collaboratively with the Leadership Teams in both the Junior and Senior Schools, you will be responsible for driving STEM as a strategic direction within the framework of the School's Strategic Design.

Knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and International Baccalaureate Programmes and previous experience in STEM programs, such as teaching Information Technologies, will be highly regarded. A commitment to ongoing Professional Learning is essential.

This position has a time allowance and carries a Leadership Level 2 salary classification.
